Magnetic thin films and nanostructures (part 1)

Magnetic thin films, nanostructures and heterostructures exhibit different behaviors and new functionalities compared to bulk materials: exalted thermal effects and anisotropy, the appearance of specific domains and walls, giant magnetotransport effects, etc. These effects and their implementation are described in [NM 1 201] [NM 1 201] and [NM 1 202] , followed by examples of their technological integration in the fields of electronics and medicine: hard disks, field sensors, tracers, etc.
