Cellulosic nanomaterial in the form of a rigid rod, generally obtained by acid hydrolysis, with a width of 3-10 nm and a form factor greater than 5.

Cellulosic nanomaterial in filament form, generally obtained by mechanical defibrillation, with a width of 5-30 nm and a form factor greater than 50.
Cellulose microfibril (CMF); Cellulose microfibril
Cellulose nanomaterial in filament form, generally obtained by mechanical defibrillation, with a width of 10-100 nm and a length of 0.5-10 µm.
