4. Application to the design of aeronautical structures

4.1 Regulatory aspects

Mechanical structures involving personal safety are subject to regulations. For example, pressure equipment is subject to the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and the Decree of December 12, 2005 on nuclear pressure equipment.
