9. Quality and presentation of results

9.1 Quality assurance

Increasing output through industrial organization and the systematic pursuit of quality required strict regulation of design, manufacturing, assembly and inspection.

The equipment used in nuclear power plants is of the highest quality, so the design of piping systems for these plants requires particular care. The programs that control the computer are verified by manual calculations and, at the same time, compared with the results obtained by other known methods and programs.

The calculations include multiple checks according to the procedure described and defined in detail.

Some of these checks are carried out by the computer itself, whose program includes numerous control loops.
