4. VOC measurement

The determination of VOC concentrations in a piped gaseous effluent or in a specific atmosphere is carried out either globally, or by identifying and quantifying individual organic compounds. There are a number of standards applicable to the determination of VOC concentrations. Table 4 lists some of these standards. Particular standards are proposed for specific applications, such as indoor air or workplaces (NF EN ISO 16017-1, 16017-2 and NF ISO 16000-6) (NF ISO 16000-1,).
