Biorefinery; biorefinery

Industrial plants that transform agricultural crops and biomass into biofuels, agrofuels for the production of heat, value-added chemicals and biomaterials.

Lignin kraft; kraft lignin

Lignin obtained by the kraft process, which consists in cooking wood in a basic medium in the presence of sodium sulfide to obtain cellulose fibers.

Lignosulfonates; lignosulfonates

Lignin obtained by the bisulfite process, which consists in cooking wood in an acid medium to obtain cellulose.

Liqueurs; liqueur

Solution containing chemical reagents for wood delignification.
