
3. Examples of chemical morphosynthesis in coaxial flows
In the preceding paragraphs, we mentioned a few examples of multiscale morphosynthesis leading to complex porous architectures. As will be explained later, a bottom-up approach can be adopted, starting either from the molecular state, or from pre-constructed nanometric bricks in a "nanotectonic" approach. Both approaches can be tackled with methodologies involving coaxial fluid flow, which substitutes for metastable thermodynamic footprints.
