5. Weighting methodologies and proposals
5.1 Preamble
This chapter presents proposals and methodologies relating to weighting. It is necessary to distinguish between methodologies whose aim is to weight leak frequencies (API 581 for example) and other methods or proposals presented (CODETI, UFIP blue guide, etc.) which do not have this objective, but which highlight the influence of certain parameters on the frequency of leak occurrence. The aim is therefore not only to take stock of existing methodologies, but also to introduce avenues that will enable readers to gain a more exhaustive view of the subject.
