Radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies have been in use at RATP for over 10 years. Initially supported only by agents' service cards for the company's internal needs, the commercial version is now called the "Passe Navigo Calypso" . The implementation of this technology has enabled the development of numerous applications dedicated to securing premises, including a complete range of access control systems.
