1. Safety glasses

Glass is said to be "safety glass" when its constitution, treatment or assembly with other materials considerably reduces the probability of damage due to impact, deformation or fire.

These glasses are generally soda-lime silicate and can be laminated, tempered or wired. These glasses have special protection features, and must comply with specific standards. The definition of the type and level of protection must be the subject of a specific agreement between the parties (project owner and contractor) within the framework of the regulations in force.
