National statistics confirm the frequency and severity of accidents on level ground in the workplace. However, both work and company practices are not commensurate with the risk.
Generally speaking, accidents on the same level occur in a wide variety of circumstances, even within a single company. This risk is not always considered to be a real "occupational hazard", and accidents on the same level are rarely analyzed in depth.
