2.1 Indicator definition and typology
Occupational health and safety (or prevention) indicators are information which, in a form that lends itself to quantification, make it possible to pass as objective a judgment as possible, either in absolute terms or by comparison, on the level of health and safety of a site, workshop or department, or on any related management element.
