3. Technical characteristics of flammable dusts

If the chemical nature or composition of the dust leads to the conclusion that this substance is not oxidizable in air, it is not necessary to carry out flammability tests on this product and the dust can be considered non-flammable.

Example

soda ash Na 2 CO 3 , silica SiO 2 , titanium oxide TiO 2 or certain metal oxides used as pigments.
