2. Obtaining experimental data
The experimental data required for vent sizing in the case of Gassy Reactions can be obtained, as in the case of reaction systems with high vapor pressure, by means of experimental tests carried out in the Vent Sizing Package.
The Vent Sizing Package (VSP) is the DIERS laboratory instrument (figure 2 ) operated at Saint Fons. A description of this device is given in the file or ref. of this treatise.
