3. Corrugated tube formation

The specific elements of a corrugated tube extrusion line are the coextrusion head, which extends into a cooling mandrel, and the use of molds to form the outer layer using pressure differences between the outer and inner surfaces of this layer.

An example of a head is shown in figure 3 . The presence of several layers (at least 2) means that the head must have several distributors.
