Textile surfaces generally have to undergo specific treatments before they can be used to make finished or semi-finished products.

Finishing: this operation finishes textile surfaces to make them suitable for their functional requirements, such as dyeing, printing, flocking or treatment with different types of finish (flame retardant, hydrophobic, antistatic, etc.).
Prior to this final touch, various treatments are often required, such as desensitizing or desizing, generally used during textile surface transformation operations, and heat setting.
