5. Additional symbols: special features

"Up to four symbols may be added to the base polymer symbols to differentiate, if necessary, modifications of a base polymer. These additional symbols should be placed after the base polymer symbol, separated from this symbol by a hyphen. None of the symbols should be placed in front of the base polymer symbol" (NF EN ISO 1043-1).
