2.1 Molds
Rotomolding molds are often made in two removable parts. After closing, the mold is completely sealed. Figure 3 shows two examples of two-part molds. The material used for the mold manufacture has a very high thermal conductivity to quickly transmit heat to the polymer inside the mold and also to evacuate it quickly during cooling.
