5.1 Micronization

  • Micronization process

    As already mentioned in paragraph 3.3, the particle size of the powder plays a very important role in rotomolding process. Micronization makes it possible to obtain polymer powder from granules. These pellets are poured into a tank and pass through vibrating screens of different sizes. Once sieved, the grains are sucked into the micronization system itself (figure  13 ).
