2.1 Synthesis of particles with controlled architecture: specifications
The process developed within the Polymer Physics and Chemistry Team (EPCP) involves the single-step synthesis of all-polymer conductive composites. Electrical properties are provided by an intrinsically conductive polymer: polyaniline (PANI), and mechanical properties are provided by the host polymer. These properties can be fine-tuned by careful selection of components and control of PANI dispersion within the matrix. The originality of this project lies in the synthesis process itself, which makes it possible to obtain low-cost conductive composites without using organic solvents, and under gentle conditions that respect the environment and people.
