2. Influence of manufacturing process on hole exit delamination

2.1 Experimental protocol

The composite material studied is HexFIT ® (Hexcel Film Infusion Technology). It is a 2 × 2 glass/epoxy semi-preg woven twill composite with a ply thickness of around 1 mm, manufactured by Hexcel Composite. It is processed using the resin film infusion principle. In terms of cost, it is a good candidate for the manufacture of large composite panels .
