ABS has a wide range of applications, thanks to all its properties: good heat resistance, high impact strength and rigidity.

4.1 Automotive
There is an average of 9 to 10 kg of ABS per car currently produced in Europe.
The main ABS parts are found in dashboard areas such as the instrument console, as well as in ventilation openings, lower consoles, heating and air-conditioning components, door handles, grille grilles (chrome-plated where appropriate), internal and external mirrors, rear light housings, etc.
