6. Examples of IoT platforms for predictive maintenance
To facilitate the implementation of intelligent maintenance 4.0, a huge number of IoT platforms are currently being offered by major service companies and by start-ups experimenting with intelligent predictive maintenance solutions as part of pilot projects. These are just a few examples of the main platforms currently available on the international market, bearing in mind that global supply in this field is growing exponentially, and that some of them are likely to be short-lived given the speed at which these techniques are evolving. Of the three categories of IoT platforms - industrial, open source and on-premises - only industrial platforms will be developed. A non-exhaustive inventory of the other two categories will be provided.
