3. Mapping maintenance standards
As we have seen, maintenance standards are produced by numerous standardization bodies at international, European and national level, to which we can add standards from professional organizations. The result is a collection of documents covering a wide range of subjects, written in different languages and used in different countries, which makes for a complex situation when looking for a standard on a particular point.
Without claiming to be exhaustive, and limiting itself to standards of a multi-sectoral nature, EFNMS (previously cited) has sought to identify them and position them in relation to the themes covered.
