6. Conclusion
Maintenance is a service activity that cuts across all industrial and construction sectors. To progress, it needs to communicate, capitalize on and update a common language and recognized, proven methods and practices. Standardization is an effective means of meeting these requirements, which explains the numerous projects undertaken in this field.
