3. Simulation of distribution logistics circuit constraints

3.1 Introductory remarks

Generally speaking, the package being tested must be filled with the products it is normally designed to contain. However, similar or dummy contents may be used, provided that their dimensional and physical properties are as close as possible to those of the products the pack is normally designed to contain.

The package under test is generally closed, as if ready for distribution.

Standard NF EN 22206 (ISO 2206) (cf. ) defines a system for identifying the various packaging parts for testing purposes.
