3. Participate in the production and use of equipment

The role of packaging can be extended:

  • upstream, by integrating packaging into production lines, we can improve the internal handling of equipment during assembly, and ensure its protection during handling and inter-operational storage (for example, using the support frame and packaging tray for in-line assembly of heat engines);

  • downstream, by using the packaging to place the equipment at its point of use (for example, using the primary packaging (internal crate) to place electronic racks in telephone exchanges).
