10. Conclusion
Whether food or non-food, all products today need to be packaged, whether they are sold self-service by supermarkets, in convenience stores or used for processing. If we add to this the evolution in consumer eating habits, with mobile catering, mass catering and even restaurants increasingly working with semi-industrial products, all these players need, at different levels of requirement, packaged products that can be kept from a few days to several years.
Packaging has thus become a necessary evil which, despite its cost, is a source of overall savings, since it avoids product loss or saves the end-user precious time.
