2.1.1 Objectives

The aim of the solution described in the previous paragraph is to use the 3D scan as is, without any post-processing. Traditionally, 3D scans are imported into 3D drawing software to serve as layers for 3D modeling of the existing building. This makes the modeling process highly reliable. However, this methodology is very time-consuming, and therefore does not meet the cost and agility objectives described above.
