4.1 The benefits and limitations of virtual reality

Virtual reality allows you to create a 3D virtual tour of a space to be renovated. This experience is created in real-time calculations, similar to a video game, using the UNITY editor. The advantage of this approach is that it enables real-time interaction with the reconstructed 3D space, provided, of course, that the rules of the game have been anticipated and programmed, i.e. the possible interactions, such as moving around the space, changing a wall color, positioning furniture, etc. We have already seen that this field of possibilities must be channeled if we are to offer a coherent experience that is relevant to the role of a virtual witness in the field.
