8. Conclusion
Intelligent predictive maintenance for Industry 4.0 is a maintenance strategy that benefits from the new developments of the fourth industrial revolution. To successfully achieve its main objective - predicting the instant of failure occurrence - its implementation requires mastery of a large number of associated concepts and tools (Internet of Industrial Objects, data analysis, data mining, cloud, big data, artificial intelligence...). This is why it is mainly large companies with data science skills that are currently successfully using it for large fleets of equipment (elevators, aircraft engines, etc.).
