7. Conclusion

In conclusion, 3D printing applied to ceramics is a tremendous opportunity for the development of these materials, as it considerably simplifies the technical difficulties encountered by traditional processes, and in some cases reduces production costs.

Additive manufacturing methods, which began with prototyping, are becoming real industrial processes for manufacturing functional parts. They open up the possibility of achieving new functions or improved properties for ceramic parts. These processes also enable designers to manufacture their parts directly.

Thanks to the implementation of additive manufacturing technologies for ceramic parts, we can expect a major boom in the industrial use of technical ceramics, and the development of new applications that were previously unthinkable.
