5. ICT skills repositories

Without wishing to be exhaustive, this article looks at three complementary reference systems, based on their specific approaches and purposes. They have been chosen on the basis of their respective complementarities and dynamics (table 3 ).

  • The first repository analyzed concerns the Portail des métiers de l'Internet. Created on the initiative of the Délégation aux usages de l'Internet (Ministry of Higher Education and Research), it is aimed at a wide audience, with the aim of explaining and promoting the diversity of digital and Internet professions.

  • The second, the e-Competence Framework, is part of the European Community's efforts to formalize IT competences in an intelligible way, whatever the country concerned. Its aim...
