2. Resilience

E. Hollnagel proposes to evaluate the resilience of an organization, i.e. its capacity to adjust its functioning before, during and after major disruptions in order to ensure its mission and achieve its objectives notwithstanding these disruptions according to four axes:

  • its ability to react ;

  • its ability to monitor ;

  • its ability to anticipate ;

  • learning capacity.
