Already 20 years ago, Nicolas Negroponte (Director of the Medialab at MIT) drew his readers' attention to the different nature of the advent of digital technologies compared to those that preceded them, in his book Being digital ? For him, this was no longer an ordinary phenomenon, but a quasi-genetic mutation: "Since each new generation will be more digital than the previous one". The last two decades have confirmed his prediction.
