5. Section structure

The section is divided into three chapters: methods, functions and tools, each of which is subdivided into separate but complementary files. Its aim is to describe the scientific and technical context of the topic, and to systematically refer to the specialized dossiers in Techniques de l'Ingénieur and other essential references.

The Methods chapter, which by definition will be framing, will introduce the problem and include federating issues. These will refer to integrated information systems, and in particular to MES, also known as e-manufacturing.

The Functions chapter will be based mainly on methodological proposals and functional requirements. In particular, it will address issues relating to the skills and behavior of human operators in the face of these technological developments.
