2. Company background

AGRALI is an SME in the agri-food industry. It employs between 300 and 400 people and generated sales of 57 M_ in 2004. Its customers are mainly mass retailers, home-delivery companies and specialized networks selling exclusively under their own brands. The company is in an intermediate position. A minor player in the face of the sector's multinationals, AGRALI is a major player in certain markets and in the face of competition from other SMEs.

Its logistics chain is made up of 2 plants located in small towns (one in the west and the other in the south-west), a central warehouse in a major western city and specific warehouses for certain customers.
