Qualitative methods essentially rely on the opinion and judgment of people familiar with the context of the variable to be forecast, or on a comparison with similar contexts.
2.1 Surveys
Polling is, by definition, a technique for exploring the properties of a sample of a population in order to deduce a variable that concerns the population.
