4. Conclusion
Based on the characteristics described in the previous paragraphs, we can assume that each manager, when making his or her choice, will find the system on the market that is right for his or her company, and that will bring significant improvements and enable him or her to achieve the objectives set.
Once the choice has been made and implementation completed, an important step has been taken, but the journey has only just begun. The company lives on, the environment evolves, and what may have been true at one point in time for the initial options may need to be reconsidered at any time, to a greater or lesser extent.
In this context, monitoring performance against objectives becomes a vital task, so as to check whether the management principles in force are still the right ones, or whether they need to be reconsidered.
