3.1 Antennas
Space transformation was first proposed for invisibility cloaks by J. Pendry and U. Leonhardt. This space transformation was then used to design new microwave functions, including antennas. The principle of these antennas is as follows: we define a starting space in which a radiating element is located, a transformed space linked by a geometric transformation, and we model this transformed space to control the field emitted outwards. The new coordinates of the transformed space x ′, y ′ and z ′ are expressed as a function of the x, y, z coordinates of the initial space :
