4. Conclusion

As CO 2 capture represents a non-negligible cost, particularly in fossil-fuel power plants, it seems that "Chemical Looping" technology is a cost-effective solution compared with other approaches proposed to date. Although further development work is required, this technology looks very promising and future commercialization is expected.
