4. Conclusion
In this first part, we studied the mechanical and radiothermal properties of aerosols. A number of important parameters were defined: diffusion coefficient D, dynamic mobility B, relaxation time τ, limiting velocity . We'll return to these in the second part, when we discuss aerosol coagulation and electrical properties, as well as the condensation and evaporation of liquid aerosols. In this second part, we will also discuss aerosol adhesion and re-entrainment, phenomena increasingly taken into account, for example, in nuclear safety. We'll also look at the optical properties of aerosols, enabling them to be detected, counted and graded.
