3. Applications and implementation
Continuous flow catalysis experiments were systematically carried out at a relatively low flow rate of between 0.05 and 0.1 mL · min –1 . Moreover, considering a macroporosity of the biohybrid monoliths of the order of 95% (and an initial volume of the Teflon tube of 73.4 mL, the volume accessible to the reaction medium within the reactor is estimated at 70 mL. Thus, the residence time can be estimated at 12 hours for a flow rate of 0.1 mL · min –1 (and 24 h for a flow rate of 0.05 mL · min –1 ).
