Photocatalytic activity is linked to the existence and evolution of charge carriers in the material. Thus, understanding the relationship existing between carrier lifetime and material structural parameters can contribute to the understanding of mechanisms related to photocatalytic activity. To monitor the dynamics of these carriers in TiO 2 , it is necessary to determine the change in electrical conductivity of the sample after illumination.
