3. Applications

Here we look at the potential applications of TPA being studied by the CEA and its partners through national and European R&D projects.

3.1 Marine container inspection

This seminal application was studied in two European projects led by the CEA, whose objectives were to detect various illicit products such as explosives and drugs:
