3.1 Follow-up principles

Scientific and technical follow-up is still necessary to validate or rectify the actions implemented, transpose technological advances to subsequent phases and enhance the positive results.

The objectives are to assess the hydraulic and ecological effects of the developments, as well as their precise evolution over time, in order to validate, or not, their interest. To this end, a protocol was set up in 2014 and renewed in 2015. Several actions have been implemented:

  • photographic monitoring of the general evolution and impact of weirs for a flow close to the modulus, during low-water periods or exceptional events (floods, etc.);
