According to BCC Research , the global photocatalyst market will be worth almost 2.9 billion euros by 2021, with titanium dioxide accounting for almost 89% of this figure. Most production is destined for the automotive and construction sectors, for coatings (glass, paints) or as additives in building materials. Other sectors such as energy, consumer products, chemicals, health and, of course, the environment also make use of photocatalysts.
