3. Special case of explosives monitoring

Detecting explosives requires taking into account all the families of energetic compounds and being able to detect and quantify them. The most common families of explosives are :

— nitroaromatics (figure 3 ) such as 1,3,5-trinitrotoluene (TNT), picric acid, 1,3,5-triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene (TATB) or hexanitrostilbene (HNS);
