4. Conclusion
The global situation is now quite clear: the world's environment, and in particular its aquatic environments, is contaminated by a wide variety of chemicals, including drug residues. Dissemination is continuous, and varies according to the flows discharged, rainfall conditions and countries' WWTPs . The challenge now is to define strategies, in conjunction with the various stakeholders, aimed at reducing the arrival of drug residues in the environment, based on a global strategy founded on the convergence of better drug use (reduction at source, development of effective "green" molecules, proposal of new therapeutic concepts, adaptation of medication, etc.), more effective...
