3. Administrative procedures for the DC system

The declaration system with periodic inspection remains a declaration system and, as such, is subject to the same administrative obligations as the simple declaration system, whether for plant commissioning or operation. The major difference lies in the fact that, at the operator's request and expense, a periodic inspection is carried out by an approved body (see 1 ). This is the special feature of this system, since it is the only one today that can be inspected by a body other than the inspectorate for classified installations.
